I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I lived in very active neighborhoods like Williamsburg, Bed-Sty (Bedford Stuyvesant), and The East (East New York). I’m a man of God, long term husband, and father. In addition to a full time writing career. I am the C.E.O. and Chief Editor of Words To A Page Publishers (W2PP). I also work for New York State’s OPWDD, where I provide counseling and direct care to these with various development disabilities. I’m still working towards a B.A. degree in creative writing, whereas I changed my path, which was a degree in Pastoral Counseling. As much as I would love being a Pastoral Counselor, I actually love writing a little more, besides the fact that I would have to change everything about my writing if I took such a job, and I don’t like being censored, or told how to live, too much conflict.
Some people asked, “how is that spiritual and erotica writing going for ya?” -And I reply, ” Quite well actually.”I’m able to do speakings, but I must have at least a month notice, although I prefer two months.
Besides working my 8 hour job, my education, my writing, blogging, book reviewing, and personal 1 on 1 spiritual counseling, I’m an 24 hr. diabetic.
I have type 1.5 diabetes. I know you’re probably thinking, ‘what’s 1,5 diabetes?’
Well, type 1.5 diabetes (or LADA – Latent Autoimmune Diabetes of adults) can best be describe as a type 1 diabetic who also have some type 2 characteristics. Check out my blog: The Diabetic Writer to learn more.
